More and more cohabiting couples
Cohabiting couples have grown over 25% in the last 10 years, that’s more than married couples and single parent families.
You need to make a Will if you are a cohabiting couple and want to provide for each other. Without a Will those closest to the deceased may not necessarily inherit. Then you might ask, what about the children?
Whether you have had children together as a couple, or have your own children from previous relationships, there are sound ways to protect your assets so that everyone is well looked after. The simple way is to provide a life interest for your partner, but on his/her death your own assets will go to your own children. Okay, there’s quite a bit more to it than that, but it is a good starting point for you to realise that there is a way, and we can help.
